Suzy Lester
A former Nordstrom executive, Suzy retired from her corporate career after 18 years, the last 8 of which were as Store Manager for Nordstrom Palo Alto. Seeking more time freedom and schedule flexibility, Suzy started her own business in event planning. Within a few years, and after experiencing terrific results with the Rodan and Fields skincare line, Suzy became a skincare consultant and now mentors and coaches multiple generations of women in their businesses as well. She'd tell you her #1 job is to be the best Mom she can be to her two teen-agers, Tobin and Annie.
Ann Dale
A veritable Michelangelo of business skills, Ann began her career in retail where she spent c-suite stints at the Gap and Disney. Bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, she later started her own high-end retail linen shop, as well as, consulted to various retailers in the US. After having helped several relationship marketing firms improve their bottom lines, Ann became a believer in the unique business model (aka multi-level marketing), and chose Rodan and Fields to stake her own claim. Ann has a growing team in the skincare arena, while she also continues her business consulting endeavors and marketing at the college level. In the spirit of the apple not falling far from the tree, Ann's own college age children are both headed down their own business paths as well.
Maggie Mittendorf
Maggie manages the world wide brand development efforts of musicians/artists licensed products for Live Nation, but she likes to say her "fun job" is her growing Rodan and Fields skincare team. Juggling a full-time international position, with a growing skincare team and growing family (#kidsunder5) is not easy, but Maggie takes the long term view. Her main complaint is that I didn't fully explain the business opportunity to her sooner! Given her international business background, it's no surprise that Maggie has a growing team in Australia too.
Maria Gomes
An attorney with her own private practice as well as a critical team member in the San Mateo's Private Defender's program, Maria is a force to be reckoned with. There are times in her legal career when she is in need of "happier days" and that's what her skincare business provides her. She also loves having amazing skin "even at <<her>> age". Her words not mine!
Kappy Olson
Kappy graduated from Santa Clara University and attended the New York Institute of Finance. She spent 18 years as a VP for a major investment bank in Chicago and New York.
In 1991 she moved to the Coachella Valley and began her real estate career. Kappy sees her Rodan and Fields business as a perfect add-on to her real estate efforts. She is a firm believer that people are happy when they feel good about themselves and their skin!
She receives consistent positive feedback from clients, including: “I watched my child’s confidence rise as her skin improved.”
Shawn McKall
As Program Manager at Harvard Business School (HBS) Association of Northern California, Shawn is quite busy. And as the mother of 5, she is as well. But she still felt the need to add on an additional side business with Rodan and Fields, if nothing else to cover her growing brood's own skincare needs! With former longer term stints at both Microsoft and Xerox, Shawn knows a great company when she sees one. She jumped in to the Rodan and Fields opportunity within the first few days of hearing about it. Her business has consistently grown every month, each and every year.
Michelle Nguyen
Experienced in marketing, sales and health promotion, Michelle's varied background works wonders with her global Rodan and Fields business. Her double Bachelor’s Degree - Business and Registered Nursing from California, is a perfect backdrop to this business model. Michelle is currently growing both her family and her business in Brisbane, Australia.

Anita Vieira
A customer solutions professional with over 20 years experience in the program / project management workspace, Anita and I met at Charles Schwab. She excels at being team AND customer focused, pragmatic, organized and innovative... all so critical for a client facing business like Rodan and Fields. She is busy juggling her family of two young sons, with her full-time banking job and her skincare business. Anita can't believe that her R+F business mainly calls for her to reach out to old connections and to make new friends: two things desperately missing from her other careers.
Jody Austin
Fortunately, during her 35+ year retail career, Jody has always valued growth--personal, professional, and financial. Armed with an MIT Sloan Artificial Intelligence certificate and her legendary bandwidth, she is having a great time consulting in this new “side gig” economy as a digital stylist for Stitch Fix and as an independent skincare consultant for Rodan + Fields.
Cheryl Shocklie
Also one for multiple careers, Cheryl and I met at Charles Schwab. In addition to her finance career, Cheryl has added real estate brokerage to the line up, government work, and R + F...in addition to a myriad of volunteer responsibilities, including mentoring her grown children on their mission work.
Penny Schenkkan
Working with children on the autism spectrum and providing services to them and their families is extremely gratifying for this Clinical Director, but there are times when levity is needed! R+F to the rescue. Penny enjoys helping others get the best skin of their lives and enjoys the different, but still very real, form of gratification that doing so offers her. She is based in San Francisco with her wife and family dog!
