Hair today; more hair tomorrow!

Some events just stick with you, you know? Like take this one, for example. There she was…Thea Cleminshaw…gorgeous, amazing, swingy hair…sort of an auburn color. In a ponytail, swinging from side to side as she walked up the steps of College Hall at Dartmouth. Yup, it was my freshman orientation week, and I thought to myself, “Gawd, I always wanted hair like that. Dammit. You got hair like that…you got it all.” Yes, I still truly and actually remember that day and that vision…

Okay, yes, the innocence of youth….I grant you that. Hair doesn’t necessarily determine who you are…but still, hair like that is pretty damn good. I’ve always had thin, fine hair and now, as I age, it has gotten worse. That’s why I am so excited about a new line of hair care products that launched in March 2015, by the award winning company who brought us Revitalash. You know, the makers of the award-winning lash grower and brow grower? I use both those products with fabulous success, so have been awaiting the launch of their hair care line with much anticipation.

And I have not been disappointed! The new REGENESIS line of hair products is AH-MAZING! From the shampoo, to the conditioner, to the special targeted spray, these products leave your hair feeling thicker, healthier, and with a ton more volume after the very first application. The company has made a big bet on this line and its one of those situations where users simply become evangelists for the products. Ongoing use of the shampoo and conditioner will make anyone’s hair luxurious, with a thickness on the hair shaft that is difficult to create otherwise. The volume achieved with the Micro Targeting spray is also amazing, and the spray contains ingredients that keep longer hair fortified and strong to prevent breakage and damage. (The line’s volumizing foam is recommended for shorter hair and/or male hair). The spray should be used every day to fortify the hair shaft as well as to add volume to any style, and it’s major “game changing” characteristic is that it is “time release”, hence continuously improving the condition of the hair shaft over time. It can be used on wet or dry hair.There are two additional products that are also of note. A wonderful scalp mask is a must two to three times a week. I have been searching for a great scalp mask for a while now. I have never understood why we spend so much time on our facial skin without really recognizing that the skin on our scalp needs attention too! The mask is a game-changer as well. Your hair will feel so different and so wonderful after just one treatment. With ongoing use, the scalp is fortified to produce and protect hair follicles that are strong and energetic going forward. The other additional product is a hair serum with a unique applicator (roller ball) that can be applied up to three times a day to the hairline and to the area of your hair part, where hair can be compromised or where you may be suffering damage (baby hairs anyone?). I can authentically and honestly say that I have seen very positive results with my own fine and thinning hair from the product line and you should too, after using a combination of the hair products through one full cycle (i.e. one complete use of full bottles of the products).
