Brilliant first impressions in 9 seconds or less!
When I was coming of age, we were told that one had thirty seconds to make an impression. Now, I’m told it’s 9 seconds! Nine seconds! That’s ridiculous. But experts say you have to commit to a strong start. A weak start leads to a weak first impression. That’s why it’s so important now to get the right “headshot”. No matter if it’s for your company website, your LinkedIn profile, Facebook, or even Cupid.com, you’ve got to have a headshot that shows you at your very best, and most current, “you”!
But it’s tough to coordinate all that you need to make for a perfect shot. Makeup, hair, styling, venue, and photographer! And what about that photographer? How do you know who’s who? Whew! Well, I have great news for you! Its one-stop headshot shopping right here!
I am thrilled to announce my collaboration with Kelly Vorves, photographer extraordinaire (www.kellyvorves.com). Kelly makes everyone feel comfortable and wonderful as she shoots away. In a little less than an hour, your efforts with Kelly will produce terrific headshots that can be used for everything from that conference brochure to that digital resume you’ve been meaning to put together.
Yours truly will create a perfect makeup look for you (natural but with emphasis on your strengths…airbrush makeup is used for headshot photos…just like the stars!), and hair style (your current hair style, but with polish!). You will speak with Kelly beforehand, and you will discuss one or two outfits to change into throughout the shoot. Patterns are likely a “no-no”, as is heavy jewelry, plunging necklines, and pure white. When you get ready for your headshot appointment, make sure that you’re well rested, hydrated, and ready to smile!
As for venue, you can either have the image taken in our studio or we can come to your venue. It’s up to you.
For two images, the pricing is $425 (at our studio) or $475 (at your location).
Even the payment is easy: one swipe of your credit card takes care of it.
